You want to see love?
Look to the Cross. There you will find a perfect, sinless Man who hangs naked, tortured, covered in blood, spit and dirt. Why is He there? To cleanse you of your sins. He did it so that you may have everlasting life. He did it for you. You were the one with sin, you where the one who deserved this death. Yet, God has so loved you that He sent Jesus to die your death and to bring you freedom from sin. He desired to have complete and total fellowship with you. The Lord was seeking you through the death of His Son.
In Christ we see the perfect example of love. Feeling unloved today? I suggest you spend time reading the Gospels. Fix your gaze upon Jesus and you will find love.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in his will not perish but have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it.” John 3:16-17
